One most unique Bhutan trek you must not miss - 2020
Escape to experience the
world outside your comfort zone, battling against the odds to unplug the
incomprehensible wonders of nature.
Gangkar
Punesum Exploratory Trek is one of the few trek left in the world for trekkers
looking for incredible trek route, get unforgettable emotions and create
unusual memories. It is one of the most beautiful high altitude treks in
Bhutan. It visits an area to the south and east of Gangkar Puensum, the world’s
highest unclimbed peak, which lies inside Bhutan border with Tibet. This is one
of the most challenging yet rewarding expeditions.
Very
few people have undertaken this challenge, but haven’t completely sprawled
across the region’s incredibly remote surrounding. There are many uniquely
undisturbed, unexplored and well preserved beauties with endless prospect of
wonders that can silence you for days to truly feel its presence. This wild
area with spectacular mountain vistas is home to the yak herders and their
animals during the summer months, but some of the areas are not even touched by
the resident yak herders. This is the reason we want you to explore before
everyone else does.
The trek is quite
challenging, however, it is a worthwhile objective and should be attempted by those
trekkers who have previous experience of hiking in a rugged, high altitude
mountain environment.
“We make adventure travel
sustainable, and with your help we can bring a difference.”
