Puensum at 7,570m/24,835ft is the highest mountain in Bhutan and also happens
to be the highest unclimbed peak in the world.
It sits astride Bhutan’s northern border with Tibet. The surrounding
mountain region of Gangkar Puensum is largely unexplored and in recent time has
received a very few trekkers.
