White River Rafting & Kayaking
White-River Rafting |
Bhutan River rafting &
kayaking is one of the idle and challenging water sports. There are many wildest
rivers available in Bhutan including Wangchhu, Sunkosh, Punatshangchhu, Kurichhu,
Mangduechhu and Dangmechhu, which are part of our adventure trips. These rivers
are well protected like the wild, since they flow through different protected
parks and sanctuaries, ensuring that they will remain free flowing untamed and cleanest
river in the world.
Kayaking |
We provided several
different types of trip to choose from - half day to full day white river
rafting. In every trip you will have a chance to admire the beauty of the
surrounding landscape and at the same time you can experience an unforgettable
water adventure as you paddle down the monstrous river with horrendous rapids
and roaring current in a guided rubber raft. Many of the rivers have high
currents and depths reaching a maximum of above five meters; at places with
gentle flow and at other place, the river rages high and loud dominating the
environment.
Rafting below Punakha Dzong |
As you paddle down the
wide, strong and infinitely more challenging rivers with screaming and
laughing, your intimacy with the undisturbed and pristine natural environment
is what most of our adventure enthusiast would love to treasure the most. You
will also rewarded with wonderful opportunities to spot some of the wildlife
species in its natural setting including the endangered of extinction – the
white-bellied heron.
